Christmas 2008
We have had a wonderful Christmas day, with Joe and Tam and dear little Annabelle joining us at Murray and Janets home, along with all the other Osmonds. The weather was perfect, about 24 degrees, the best we've had for years.
Winston came late, having been out the night before, but at least he came! He brought along Inde, his Staffy puppy. She is his pride and joy and is really growing into a lovely pet. (We had a Staffy dog when Win was a boy, and he has never forgotten her.)
Annabelle and the other children paddled in Murray and Janet's fountain, and Tam said it is the first time she has ever wanted to get out of the water, it was cold!

Since Joe has been working on the house, the windows and doors have gone in, and we are making good progress. It seems they have been here much longer than one week, and we have settled into a lovely routine.
Tam and Joe and Annabelle have now gone away in our camper for a few days, and have met up with Jess and Dave in Northland, at Daves parents home. By all accounts they are having a good time, and want to look around the Hokianga Harbour area ( a few hours drive north of Auckland), where there are big Kauri trees, and lots of history of the early days of the Kauri gum diggers and fearless Maori.

We are looking forward to the wedding, and seeing some of you over here, we hope to show you around our part of the world.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, all the best for 2009, love
Ali, Sue, Tam, Joe and Annebelle.
